The Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park gave away 10 seasonal passes to the first 10 kids that arrived on Thursday 20 March to celebrate the official opening of the 2008 season with a day full of entertainment and fun.
General Manager, Paul Blunt along with mascots, Delma and Delmo, handed the first 10 children commemorative scrolls marking their free entrance to the Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park for the rest of the 2008 season. The kids and their families came from around the region including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE as well as Bahrain.
"We are thrilled to welcome guests from all over the region," Paul Blunt, General Manager, Lost Paradise of Dilmun stated during the opening "and we are very happy to see the excitement that the seasonal passes are generating."
Over the first three days, more than 1,000 guests relaxed in the cool waters of the Spa pool and enjoyed the 14 different slides and rides at the park throughout the weekend. Whether by the beach, swishing down slides, or paddling in the wet-play area, children and adults of all ages enjoyed the pleasantly surprising weather. Guests swayed to the sounds of DJ MoJay from Radio Bahrain, who spun his tracks throughout the weekend playing a mixture of Arabic and English music, keeping the whole family entertained.
The Lost Paradise of Dilmun is now open for the 2008 season. The operating hours for March to May are 10am to 5pm. The park will open six days a week, and close every Tuesday except on school and public holidays. Come join us at the Lost Paradise of Dilmun, the oasis of fun for everyone.
