ArabFinance: Misr for Central Clearing, Depository, and Registry (MCDR) sold its 70% equity in Misr Lel Makkasa Club to Estadat Company, Amwal al Ghad reported on November 2nd.
The name of the club will be changed in line with the beginning of the new football season, the news portal added.
MCDR’s board reportedly approved last month an offer from Estadat to purchase the sponsorship rights of Makkasa Club.
Earlier in October, Chairman of Makasa Sport Company Amr Mostafa Kamel allegedly offered to purchase 100% of Misr Lel Makkasa Club after resigning from his position.
