MUMBAI- India raised the base import price of crude palm oil by $32 to $1,045 per tonne, the government said in a statement on Monday.

The government revises base import prices of edible oils, gold and silver every fortnight and the price is used to calculate the amount of tax an importer needs to pay.

Base prices for all commodities are in $ per tonne, except for gold and silver. Gold tariff is $ per 10 grams and silver $ per kg.
