ArabFinance: GlaxoSmithKline Egypt (GSK Egypt) (BIOC) will distribute annual cash dividends for 2019 on September 3rd, according to the company’s statement filed the Egyptian Exchange.

The company will disburse EGP 0.50 per share to the shareholders recorded on August 31st.

GSK posted a consolidated net profit stood at EGP 115,953,804 in the first half (H1) of 2020, a 302% increase from EGP 28,839,637 achieved in H1 2019.

In May, the company's board of directors proposed an annual cash dividend for 2019 of EGP 0.50 per share.

GSK Egypt, a member of the British pharmaceutical company Glaxo Group Ltd., is an Egypt-based company engaged in the manufacture, packaging, marketing, sale, and distribution of pharmaceutical products. The company's wholly-owned subsidiary is Amoun Pharmaceutical Company, which is engaged in the production of medical appliances.
