KUWAIT - The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) announced on Monday that it issued bonds and related tawarruq estimated at KD 200 million (about USD 660 million) for a three-month term.

The securities bear a return rate of 4.125 percent, the central bank told KUNA in a statement.

On January two, the CBK issued bonds and tawarruq valued at KD 240 million (about USD 792 million) for six months with a return rate of 4.250 percent.
