DUBAI: Popular Saudi gym Fitness Time is opening a women-only facility in Riyadh, it announced Wednesday in a bourse filing.
The new low-cost gym will have equipment from Technogym, but unlike other centers, it will not have a swimming pool.
This will allow Fitness Time to offer cheaper prices and help its clubs become accessible, it said.
Called the Fitness Time Ladies Xpress, the gym will be located on Dirab Road in Riyadh’s Al-Marwah District. It will have a total area of 900 square meters.
The company said more openings would be announced in the coming weeks.
Fitness Time now operates 135 gyms within and outside Saudi Arabia.
