Manama: Bahrain has extended visit visas of expatriates currently in the country.

Public Security chief Lt Gen Tariq Al Hassan said the decision was taken under the directives of the Government Executive Committee. The decision allows affected visitors to extend their stay legitimately.

“A decision has been taken to extend the visit visas for expatriates, due to the present situation,” he said.

“The person need not apply for the extension and it will be done free of charge.

“This follows the directives of the Government Executive Committee, taking into consideration the global situation.”
