The Third Justice Partners Forum, organised by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), under the title "Judiciary and Advocacy: Digital Transformation, Case Management and Remote Litigation", explored ways to enhance the litigation system and digital transformation in Abu Dhabi courts' judicial services.

The move aims to support the competitiveness of Abu Dhabi as an attractive destination for business and investments.

The forum, which was held via video conference in the Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy (ADJA), was attended by a large number of lawyers registered with the ADJD’s Lawyers and Experts Affairs Division as well as representatives of law and legal consultancy firms at the national and international levels.

It also reflects the importance of partnering with lawyers as strategic interlocutors of the judiciary, and the need to hear their views in the continuous development and improvement of judicial and legal services, in line with the vision of the ADJD and the commitment of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Court and Chairman of ADJD, to achieve an accomplished justice of international quality.

The forum, moderated by Judge Sultan Al Nyadi, President of the Abu Dhabi Commercial Court, covered a range of topics related to remote litigation systems and procedures within the courts of the Judicial Department. Participants discussed strategic factors influencing digital transformation and internet courts, legislative and judicial developments concerning digital transformation in court services, and remote litigation under the Civil Procedures Law. They also examined the use of electronic and intelligent litigation procedures, court case management, and ongoing modernization and development efforts aimed at creating an integrated system of AI for all legal services.
