TUNIS, May 18, 2010 (TAP) - Prospects for information and communication technologies (ICT) in the United States of America and business opportunities that could be seized by Tunisian promoters were the focal points of a conference held on Tuesday at the El Ghazela Technopark.

This event is part of a set "Doing Business with the USA" seminars held by the embassy of the United States in Tunis, the Fund for Access to Exports Markets (FAMEX), the Technical Packaging Centre (PACKTEC), the Tunisian-American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Centre of Juniors Managers (CJD) and the Junior Chamber International of El Menzah.

Papers presented on the occasion stressed the American companies' firm will to broaden their activities to external markets that witness a growing use of mobile applications and attract rival companies for a merger likely to strengthen their production chain.

Presentations also show the conformity of Tunisian laws with those the legal arrangements in force in the USA and the potential of trade exchanges in ICTs available between the two countries.
