Bandar Abbas, July 22, IRNA - Director General of Hormuzgan Ports and Marine Organization said that after deal between Iran and Group 5+1 and opening the international trade exchanges atmosphere, the third big shipping line in the world is to anchor in Shahid Rajaei Harbor soon.
Ebrahim Aidani told reporters on Wednesday that the shipping line is ' CMA CGM' and belongs to France.
He added that upon schedule the first big container ship belonging to the French company will anchor in Rajaei Harbor on early August.
Aidani stressed that container ship ' Andromeda' by 363 meters length and capacity of 11,500 TEU containers is to berth in terminal #2 of the Rajaei Harbor and unloaded 900 TEU containers.
The ship is originally navigating from Far East toward Persian Gulf and will berth in 10 big container harbors, which Rajaei Harbor is one of them.
Shahid Rajaei Harbor is in the list of internationally important ports, which has possibility for anchoring the seventh generation of big ships.
Shahid Rajaei Harbor is located 23 kilometers west of Bandar Abbas, capital of southern province of Hormuzgan.
