Parliament session today will be restricted to a maximum of two hours.

Chairwoman Fouzia Zainal has decided to trim the schedule to just ministers' replies to questions presented by MPs and then immediately move on to urgent proposals submitted over the past two days to combat the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19).

She is expected to take MPs’ vote to continue with the new two-hour session until the end of the term in May.

MPs will be seated under new social distancing arrangements.

The Shura Council has now restricted its session to a maximum of one hour.
