Muscat - Over 22,000 cases of people being affected by cyclone Shaheen have been recorded in the wilayats till October 19, 2021, the National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM) said.

"22,807 cases were counted in the wilayats affected by the tropical situation Shaheen till October 19, 2021. Of them, 4,175 were in the wilayat of Musannah, 1,1801 in the wilayat of Suwaiq, 5,791 in the wilayat of Al Khaboura, and 1,040 in the wilayat of Saham.‏ The field team is continuing the process of counting the remaining cases," NCEM said in a statement.
