KUWAIT : Maha Al-Ghunaim, President of YAL- Kuwait chapter announced today the launch of a training program with an initiative of bringing together Kuwaiti and foreign students in the private sector.  The 'Internship and Exchange Program' will allow students to exchange their knowledge and capabilities within the Kuwaiti's various organizations and universities, given that Kuwait's private sector is one of the best and strongest sectors in the region in terms of size and experience. Maha Al-Ghunaim said, " The Kuwait chapter will start promoting a summer internship and exchange program for students within the Kuwaiti organizations, who will be invited to host the European and American Universities for three months to learn the different business principles in the Arab world.

She continued that after the success in our previous training program in Europe, this years program also aims to attract more Kuwaiti students to be trained in various international companies in Asia, Europe, and the United States of America.  "I invite all the  private companies and specifically listed companies to participate in the foreign exchange program due to the positive impact it had within the community," "In which it  provided a wider platform of communications and opportunities to the Arab population," said Al-Ghunaim. YAL's training programs are practiced by major companies throughout the world. For the past few years two German companies "Daimler" for cars and "Siemens" for electronic engineering have been accepting Kuwaiti students from the school of Business Administration from the University.

Students reported positive feedback about the useful experience and the extent they benefited about the program. In which they had the opportunity to view them directly and converse about the best business management planning. It is worth noting, the initiative will hold a series of briefings in the days ahead with universities and local companies to inform them of the different programs and its objectives. In which the company "Daimler" will sponsor a project in Germany, and another project in Asia, is supported by the "Group of Southeast".

YAL's previous events include the Arab and American Dialogue Exchange Forum held in New York, USA, in association with the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) in the presence of former President Bill Clinton. The Arab and Asian Dialogue Exchange Forum held in Singapore, in association with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headed by HE Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. The Arab and European Dialogue Exchange Forum held in Berlin, Germany, in association with Daimler with the presence of Dr. Rudiger Grube, Member of the Board of Management Daimler AG and Chairman of EADS, Germany. It is worth mentioning, that the Young Arab leaders (YAL)  was launched in February 2004 by young Arab men and women who are ambitious personalities able to reach high levels of success in their lives. The Board of Trustees includes Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of Dubai and the Hashemite King Abdullah, King of Jordan.
