New Delhi/Chandigarh: Known for his incredible general knowledge, Kautilya Pandit these days is busy hopping from one television channel studio to another giving interviews, answering questions, and mesmerising people in the process.
Noticing the special talent in the child, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda recently invited the family of Kautilya Pandit to his residence. Hooda honoured Kautilya with a reward of Rs 10 lakh and a certificate. The amount has been handed over to Kautilya in the form of a Fixed Deposit (FD), meant to be used for his higher studies.
After meeting the child prodigy, Hooda described the Intelligence Quotient (IQ) of Kautilya as “rare and special”. The Chief Minister assured Kautilya’s father Satish Sharma that the state government would provide every possible support to enable him to further excel in studies. The government would also assist him to pursue his education in the institute of his choice.
Recently, as a part of the Children’s Day celebrations, Kautilya was also seen on the hot seat opposite superstar of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan on the platform of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ answering difficult questions with proficiency.
Bachchan was mighty impressed with the talent of the five-year-old, who he described as “encyclopedia personified.”
“That genius kid Kautilya Pandit, just above five years, answers questions that many scientists and knowledged persons could never answer in their lifetime. He knows all the galaxies that exist in universe, and their complicated names,” Bachchan had said recently.
