MUSCAT -- A workshop on 'The Power of Positive Thinking', aiming at teaching the way of living and thinking positively, presented by Helen Sayers, representative of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University at the United Nations in Geneva, will be held today at Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation in Ruwi. The workshop, to be held from 8 pm onwards, is open for all and entry is free as part of the foundation's service to the community. For further information, write to bkwsumct@omantel.net.om

In her statement on positive thinking, Helen says: "It is said that you are what you think. By understanding and harnessing the energy of our thoughts we are able to make positive changes in our attitudes and habits, and develop the values that are essential for harmonious living. Through regular practice the quality of our lives improves and we will inspire others by our example." Helen is a project co-ordinator for 'Climate Change Countdown', an initiative of the Rajayoga Foundation in Oman. She is also a founding member of the Swiss Association for Living Values and facilitates training courses for educators in West and Central Africa in addition to being a freelance technical editor for the World Health Organisation.
