Work has started on the Phase One of New Alamein City coming up on the North Coast of Egypt over a sprawling 202 million sq m area at a total investment of E£75 billion ($4.5 billion), said a report.
 
One of the new generation millennium cities, the New Alamein City will boast a mix of residential, tourist, educational, and services projects, reported Mubasher, citing a top official.
 
Under the Phase One, a group of 15 towers are being built, while the Phase Two will see the construction of 10 additional towers, said Mohamed Zaghloul, the head of projects department at the Council of New Alamein City.
 
Earlier, City Edge Developments had launched ‘Mazarine’ and ‘The Gate’ projects in New Alamein City, stated the report.
 
Spanning over a 411,600 sq m area, Mazarine project comprises 296 villas, chalets, and twin houses, overlooking two lakes stretching over an area of 208 feddans, it added.
