Work is moving at a steady pace on two of Bahrain's key amusement parks - Mohammed bin Faris Park and Ain Al Haninia Park - in Riffa, according to Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry.

On completion, it will boast of key amenities including a football field, restrooms, a walking track, a caf, a kiosk, a gymnasium, and a service building, said the ministry in a statement.

The Haniniya Park will be spread over a 7,000 sq m are and include a walkway through the garden, private family spaces, a seating area, and an elevated platform.

With the project nearing its final stages, focus is now on the installation of games and rubber floors, football fields, and tree planting work that is expected to be completed by the end of this year," stated Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam Al Khalaf.

"The ministry is keen to preserve the old heritage springs that represent an important legacy in the history of Bahrain, including Ain Al Haniniya in Riffa, in addition to expanding the green area and increasing these kinds of projects in various regions, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
