BEIRUT: Libyan Justice Minister Ali Hameida Ashour said Thursday there was nothing new in the ongoing judicial investigations into the 1978 disappearance in Libya of Shiite Imam Musa Sadr and his two companions. Ashour spoke to reporters upon his arrival at Beirut airport for a three-day visit during which he will hold talks with Justice Minister Shakib Qortbawi, Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour and other officials. He said his visit was aimed at opening “a new page” in bilateral relations, strained under Libya’s ousted leader Moammar Gadhafi over the Sadr case.
