Rome, Oct 23rd, 2009 (WAM) - A UAE delegation, headed by Dr Tariq Al Haydan, Assistant Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, took part today in a meeting of senior officials as part of the 'Forum for the Future 2009'.
The meeting discussed outcome of the three workshops held in Beirut, Rabat and Doha which respectively tackled the impact of economic crisis, local governance and human security. It endorsed the final conclusions, to be submitted for discussion during the Foreign Ministers meeting in Marrakesh on October 30 and 31. The UAE delegation members include Ambassador to Italy Abdul Aziz bin Nasser Al Shamsi, Dr Yousif Al Hassan Minister Plenipotentiary at the Foreign Ministry, Habib Al Sayegh, Chairman of the UAE Writers Association, Afraa Al Basti, Director General of the Woman and Child Foundation in Dubai, Khalid Al Hossani, Board Member of the UAE Human Rights Association, Alia Al Shihi, from UAE embassy in Rome and Noura Al Mazroui, from the Foreign Ministry.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2009.
