DUBAI --Toshitaka Hagiwara, Chairman and Representative Director of the Board of Komatsu Ltd, visited Galadari Trucks and Heavy Equipment Company (GTHE) on Wednesday. Hagiwara also held a meeting with Mohammed A.R. Galadari, Chairman of Galadari Brothers, earlier in the day. They discussed in length plans of expanding Komatsu's business in the UAE.
During his visit, Hagiwara was briefed about GTHE and the after-market support offered by the company. Hagiwara showed keen interest in the future expansion plans of GTHE and was very appreciative of the strong after-market support Komatsu customers receive from GTHE.
Hagiwara, on his first to Dubai, was also impressed by the stock levels of Komatsu machines maintained by GTHE to meet the growing demand of the UAE market.
In the UAE, Komatsu has become synonymous with low operating costs and excellent reliability and productivity. Komatsu machines have an image of being strong enough to bear the harsh weather conditions of the UAE and a performance level that far exceeds market expectations and requirements.
