Beijing, May 8th, 2013 (WAM) -- UAE Embassy and the Military Attache in the Republic of China held a reception on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the Unification of the UAE Armed Forces, hosted by Omer Ahmed Udai Nasib Al Bittar, UAE Ambassador to China.
The ceremony was attended by a high-level military delegation of senior leaders and officers of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Al Bittar and the Military Attache congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council, Rulers of the Emirates, His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and the UAE people on this occasion. Al Bittar stressed his thanks to the wise leadership of the UAE, stating that the Armed Forces actively contributed to humanitarian works in many countries around the world and has played an active role in peacekeeping and humanitarian relief operations and reconstruction. The UAE ambassador pointed out that the bonds of friendship and cooperation between China and the UAE have witnessed a remarkable development thanks to the sincere efforts of the leaderships of the two countries and that the nations are looking forward to further cooperation in various fields on the basis of mutual respect and benefit for a promising future for the two countries and their peoples.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2013.
