Dubai - Al-Futtaim Motors has unveiled three new Toyota models at an impressive and colourful launching ceremony held recently at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.
Al-Futtaim Motors, the sole distributor of Toyota, Lexus and Hino in the UAE, introduced new models namely the Innova -- the first 8-seater passenger car by Toyota, the all-new Fortuner SUV and the next generation Hilux pick-up.
All three vehicles were presented to invited guests and the Press at a triple launch colourful ceremony held recently.
Speaking on the occasion, Colin Leitch, Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Motors said all new model arrivals are exciting, but launching three new Toyota models at the same time is particularly thrilling for Al-Futtaim Motors.
"The Hilux, Innova and Fortuner are all exceptional vehicles in their own right and we are expecting a high demand for all three," he said.
The Innova is the first 8-seater passenger car in the Toyota range. It is powered by a 2.7 litre VVT-i engine.
The second vehicle -- The Hilux -- is dynamic, strong and stylish, offering both work and leisure capabilities. A double and single cab design, with features on par with a passenger car. It is available in a choice of 2.0 L, 2.7 L petrol VVT-engine and a 2.5 litre diesel, turbo engine.
Third and last model, Toyota Fortuner is a new SUV from Toyota with attractive styling and a powerful ride, descends from a long line of legendary Toyota 4x4 models such as the Land Cruiser and Prado. Powered by a 4 litre or 2.7 litre engine with advanced Toyota engine technologies including VVT-i , the Fortuner is a genuine 4WD.
Al-Futtaim Motors, a member of the Al-Futtaim Group, operates and manages the Toyota, Lexus and Hino franchises in the UAE. The company also manages 12 Tyre Express outlets across the UAE.
