AMMAN, June 4 (KUNA) -- Two young Kuwaiti men got killed and two others sustained injuries when the car they were driving on the Azraq-Zarqa'a highway collided accidentally with a dump truck right after the Kuwaitis crossed the border into Jordan on Wednesday.
The two who died were identified as Ahmad Nasser al-Azmi (born in 1988) and Anwar Fuhaid Mas'ad (born in 1986), KUNA learned.
The two injured ones were identified as Abdullah al-Mubaiei (born in 1987) who was whisked off to an intensive care unit, having lost consciousness, and Hadi Mahdi al-Azmi (born in 1988) whose condition was pronounced to be stable.
Kuwait's ambassador to Jordan Faisal al-Malik al-Sabah rushed at once to the site of the terrible accident, which is about 100 km away from the Capital city of Amman.
The four young men had been driving from Kuwait to Jordan, though it was not certain whether their ultimate destination was Jordan or Syria.
The Kuwaiti embassy coordinated with Kuwait Airways as to transporting the two deceased Kuwaitis home.
