DUBAI (Zawya Dow Jones)--The Tiger Woods Dubai, the 55 million square feet private residential golf community project, Sunday said it awarded a 150 million U.A.E. dirham ($40.8 million) contract to Dubai-based Dutco Balfour Beatty for the construction of all commercial buildings at the Al Ruwaya Golf Club.
Under the contract, Dutco Balfour Beatty will be responsible for the completion of the project's signature buildings, including the Al Ruwaya Clubhouse, Al Ruwaya Golf Academy, three on-course sanctuaries, and the golf maintenance complex, Tiger Woods Dubai said in an emailed statement.
Dutco Balfour Beatty started mobilizing works on The Tiger Woods Dubai site in July this year. By the end of September, a workforce of 500 will be on site working simultaneously on the Clubhouse, Golf Academy, and the sanctuaries.
