Damascus - The International Medical Center Company has started the execution works for a Medical Center in Yafour city, western Damascus, with a USD-37-million cost, al-Thawra daily said Wednesday.
The Center, the biggest private hospital in Syria, will be equipped with European, American and Japanese up-to-date technology, is planned to include three advanced heart, orthopedic and bone rehabilitation sections and 521 beds, the daily added.
"The Kuwaiti Investment House, al-Razi Holding Company for Kuwaiti Health Projects, Kuwaiti al-Shaal Company and Syria are the project investors," Director of al-Shaal Company Fayisal al-Khateb told the daily in a statement.
"Businessmen from Syria, Kuwait, UAE and Qatar are scheduled to invest in this project", khatib added.
The first stage of the hospital will be built on a 2,000-Square meter area and similar area for the second stage.
