KHARTOUM, Nov 10 (KUNA) -- The Sudanese and Chinese governments agreed Saturday to upgrade the Khartoum oil refinery and increase its output capacity.

The agreement was reached here by Sudanese Minister of Petroleum Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz and Vice President of the state-run China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Wang Dongjin, according to a statement by the Sudanese Ministry of Petroleum.

The two sides discussed the preparations for the resumption of the flow of South Sudan oil exports via the Sudanese territories, the statement added.
