KUWAIT, May 21 (KUNA) -- Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa arrived at Kuwait International Airport on Monday on an official two-day visit during which he will hold talks with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Rajapaksa was welcomed at the airport by His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Jassem Mohammad Al-Kharafi, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and senior officials.

An honorary delegation, headed by Finance Minister Badr Mashari Al-Humeidhi, was formed to accompany the Sri Lankan president.

Rajapaksa is accompanies by his Sri Lankan Foreign Affairs Minister Rohitha Bogollagama, Petroleum and Petroleum Resources Development Minister A. H. M. Fowzie, Export Development and International Trade Minister G. L. Peiris, Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion Minister Sarath Amunugama, Minister of Coconut Development Salinda Dissanayake, and senior officials.

His Highness the Amir will hold a dinner banquet Monday on the honor of the Sri Lankan president and his accompanying delegation.
