JOHANNESBURG- South Africa's trade surplus narrowed to 30.14 billion rand ($1.94 billion) in December from a surplus of 35.83 billion rand in November, data from the revenue service showed on Monday.

Exports fell 4% on a month-on-month basis to 156.30 billion rand, while imports were down 0.6% to 126.16 billion rand, the South African Revenue Service said.
