Aug 9 (Reuters) - Inter Milan have appointed former Ajax Amsterdam coach Frank de Boer as their new manager on a three-year contract, the Italian club confirmed on Tuesday.

De Boer replaces Roberto Mancini who parted company with the Milan-based club by mutual agreement on Monday.
