According to "investir-en-tunisie", 6 Aerolia subcontractors will settle in the vicinity of the Airbus plant at El Mghira, they are namely Aéroteam, Corsica Aerospace Composites, Mecanyvois, Mecaprotec, Figeac Aero, and Mecahers. The investment cost should amount to some 30 million Euros. In this context, Razat Patrick, CEO of the Mecahers company specialized in aeronautical maintenance, mechanical of precision in aeronautical sector, said that the cost of this investment is estimated at 3 million Euros adding that "the aim is to attract about 300 people by 2012.
The Director stressed that "Mecahers" which owns 80% of the TMIS Company (Team Manufacturing Industry and Services) has been settled for 18 months, in Slimane, and specialized in the assembly of electrical racks and sub-assemblies of aircraft structures.
By the end of 2014, Aerolia partners will create around 750 employments in the area.
