ABU DHABI, Apr. 2nd, 2010: President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at Al-Bateen Palace, has accepted condolences on the death of sheikh Ahmed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan from Iran's presidential advisor, Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei who represented Iranian President.
Mashaei prayed to Allah Almighty for Sheikh Ahmed's bliss in the hereafter and to bestow patience and forbearance on the Noble Al-Nahyan Family. Sheikh Khalifa asked Mashaei to convey thanks and greetings to the Iranian President for his condolences. Sheikh Khalifa later received Adel Abdul Mahdi, Iraqi Vice President, Tareq Al-Hashimi, Iraqi Vice Presidents, Eyad Allawi, former Iraqi Prime Minister and members of the accompanying delegation who offered condolences on the death of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Zayed. Later Sheikh Khalifa received Pakistani Minister of State Lieutenant General Ahmad Shuja Pasha who offered condolences on behalf of the Pakistani Government. Also today, Sheikh Khalifa received Lebanon's Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri and members of the accompanying delegation in presence of H.H Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Representative of H.H the President, H.H General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces and H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid, Crown Prince of Dubai.Present at the first meeting were H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, H.H Sheikh Tahnoun Bin Mohammed Al-Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region, H.H Sheikh Hazaa' Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Lt.
