There were many winners for the various raffles that have taken place during the course of DSF 2003.

The Lexus Mega Raffle, offers 128 Lexus cars during the 32-day festival, Dh100,000 on a daily basis and Dh1,000,000 cash on a weekly basis. The Nissan Patrol winners are also chosen daily as is the one kilo gold winner who is awarded this bonanza on behalf of the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group.

"We are extremely happy to witness the enthusiasm and response generated by these raffles. And it is also good to witness both visitors and residents benefit from this bonanza which has been a major draw of the Dubai Shopping Festival every year," said Ibrahim Saleh, senior chief operating officer of Dubai Shopping Festival."

"And as the Festival draws to a close we will have two more millionaires one from the Lexus draw and the other from the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group."

Three millionaires have already been chosen, the first one was a UAE national and the other two were from the Asian subcontinent.

Daily winners of the Lexus raffle include single ticket holders and many who share the bonanza with friends and colleagues.

Many of them have been regular buyers of the raffle tickets. Investing the money and giving some of the winnings to charity has been the decision of most winners.

The Lexus winners also have the option of choosing the Dh100,000 either in the form of cash or in the form of Mashreq Millionaire Certificates of the same denomination.

The Nissan Patrol raffle tickets have been obtained on the basis of purchase of goods from various malls as well as purchase from Enoc/Eppco.

The winners have been both residents and visitors, quite a few of them from the neighbouring emirates and one of the winners came from as far as Rwanda.

Every day, Eat'n'Win raffle winners have won Dh10,000 while lucky shoppers at Paris Gallery have won a diamond watch.

The grand raffle on the final day of the Festival by Paris Gallery will offer the winner Dh50,000 worth of shopping at any of the Paris Gallery outlets.
