Sharjah, May 15th, 2010 (WAM)--His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has inaugurated the third international symposium on Civilisation awareness effectiveness and empowerment, organised by the Prince Abdulmohsin bin Jalawi Centre for Research and Islamic Studies in Sharjah.
Present were Obaid Saif Obaid Al Hagiri, chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council, Dr Omro Abdel Hamid, adviser to Ruler of Sharjah on the higher education affairs and other senior officials. Dr. Misfer bin Ali Al Qahtani, general adviser of the centre and professor at King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals, said the symposium aimed to support revival of renaissance, which is a dream in all Muslim communities.
