Cairo – Mubasher: Rowad Tourism announced that the gypsum factory owned by its subsidiary Dahab Sinai for Manufacturing and Building Materials has started its pilot operation, while the actual operation will begin in December with a production capacity of 180,000 tonnes per year.
The factory, which has been established with an investment cost of EGP 280 million, is expected to generate annual sales of EGP 220 million, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Thursday.
It is noteworthy to mention that Rowad Tourism has a direct and indirect stake of 63.75% in Dahab Sinai for Manufacturing and Building Materials.
During the first half (H1) of 2021, Rowad Tourism logged about EGP 83,900 in net profits, down from EGP 6.96 million in H1-20.
