Bahrain announces distribution of over 6,000 residential units

The move comes following the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to distribute 6,128 housing services to citizens across all governorates

Bahrain's Ministry of Housing has started distributing residential units to eligible citizens in East Sitra Town.

More units would be distributed to citizens in the coming months, said its Housing Minister Amna bint Ahmed Al Romaihi adding that the distribution of East Sitra Town units would continue until the middle of this week.

"The work team set up by the ministry is currently finalizing the procedures of a number of beneficiaries of the new housing finance scheme, she added.
