DOHA: Leading real estate investors QIQ has been renamed Tanween at an event held at Sharq Village & Spa on Monday. The re-launch event was marked by a Corporate presentation.
Addressing the event Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Saad, Chairman of QIQ said: "We aim to a leading brand in the country, supporting the development of a new Qatar, working for long-term sustainability world wide, and rooted in tradtional values and culture. This is reflected in the creative Tanween logo design which is modern and complemened by Qatar's rich architectural heritage."
The logo is designed to reflect the Tanween concept. The different building sizes, convey the variety of prjects Tanween handles. The two contrasing colors symbolises the Arabic culture and its international manifestation.
"Through out the past decade we have been watching Qatar develop, beauty of this transition is seen through the reflection of these buildings on the Doha Bay waters. Throughout the past ten years, we have witnessed the dramatic increase of the Doha Skyline... Most visually was the beauty of the transition of the Corniche and the multitude of water reflections seen as it has developed. It is that reflection, its energy and potential that has been the vision of the logo's representation" Al Saad said.
