SHARJAH - A Real-Estate Academy, the first of its kind in the Middle East, will open in Dubai within the year, where national and expatriate students will be accorded field training in major UAE real estate firms, according to Real Estate News magazine which is published by the Contractors Union.
The Academy which would offer a diploma to graduates in real estate studies is established to enhance the development of real estate sector in the UAE; to support it by specialised academic expertise in the contexts of investment, administration and development of real estate as per the highest quality criteria of the real estate industry.
Faiza Al Darmaki, a businesswoman, said that the academy which is to be named either 'Dubai Real Estate Academy' or 'The Emirates Real Estate Academy', will comprise of brilliant specialised academics in real estate studies from the UAE, UK, Canada and Australia.
"It will function to accomplish the vision of General Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Defence Minister, to achieve the most ideal economic model at global level, especially in the real estate plane," she said.
Al Darmaki explained that the two-year academy will be offering courses in varied disciplines like real estate investments; administration, planning and coordination; information; analysis; marketing; creativity and development.
