Dubai, 29th Aug. 2009 (WAM): The Quran competition for the participants of thirteenth session of Dubai International Holy Quran Award, unveiled with six participants from, Indonesia, Morocco, Mali, Afghanistan, Turkey and Ethiopia.
Shaikh Tareq Abdul Hakim Al Bayoomi, head of the jury panel, has said, the methodology which follows by DIHQA to evaluate the memorizing capacity of competent is contemporary, and there is no chance to interrupt with human mistakes. He has appreciated the Organizing Committee for highly professional arrangement made for this internationally accredited competition programme. Shaikh Tariq was talking in the inaugural ceremony of Quran Competition, in the presence of Ebrahim Bu Melha, Chairman of Organizing committee, at the Dubai Chamber auditorium which was packed with crowd of UAE citizens and foreign expatriates who came to witness the event. It is tough job to jury panel to evaluate such competition with highly talented participants. He said that there are five questions each participant has to answer, due to the time concern it has distributed as two questions in the day time, and remain question in the night. The components of contest include memorization, presentation, and Tajweed. The jury panel putting their effort to make this competition successful with the support of all corner, he said.
