Abu Dhabi, 24 Oct. 2004 (WAM) -- A number of Islamic scholars, currently in the country at the invitation of President H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, has praised the UAE President for his good initiatives in various fields, including his annual invitation to Muslim scholars from various parts of the world to lively up the holy month of Ramadan.
During a second press conference held here today at the Press Centre of the Abu Dhabi Intercontinental Hotel, the venue ofthe prophetic guidance conference, which opens tomorrow, Dr.
Ahmed Omar Hashim, Former Head of the Cairo-based Al Az-Har University, Dr. Al Arabi Kashat, Chief of the Paris Mosque and Dr. Al Habib Al Jafri, an Islamic propagator, said this year's initiativefrom the UAE was very unique with the introduction of the Prophetic Guidance Conference, in which a number of Muslim scholars from various parts of the world will take part.Topics of major issues of discussions during the five-day conference was reviewed during the press conference, which was held in the presence of the Conference Spokesman, Dr. Aidah Al Minhali.
