Abu Dhabi, May 1st, 2007 (WAM)---President H.H. Sheikh Khalifabin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. SheikhHumaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council member and Rulerof Ajman performed today the a funeral prayer (janazah prayer)at Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed the First in Al-Bateen area for thelate Sheikh Saeed Bin Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan who died todayin a car crash.

The prayer was also performed by General Sheikh Mohammed binZayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commanderof the UAE Armed Forces, Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum,Dubai Deputy Ruler and Minister of Finance and Industry, SheikhSaud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of RasAl Khaimah, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince ofUmm al-Qaiwain, Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Mualla, Umm al-QaiwainDeputy Ruler and Chief of Police and General Security, SheikhHamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Tahnounbin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler's Representativein the Eastern Region, Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, SheikhSurour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Lt.General Sheikh Saif bin ZayedAl Nahyan, Minister of Interior, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed AlNahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Dhiyab binZayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Electricity and Water Authority (ADEWA), Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan,Foreign Minister, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, Ahmed Khalifa Al Suweidi,the President's Representative, Sheikh Mohammed bin Butti AlHamed, Ruler's Representative, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan,Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, SheikhHamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works, AbdullahAl Masoud, Speaker of the National Consultative Council, NCC,other Sheiks, senior officials, dignitaries, Muslim scholars,members of diplomatic missions in Abu Dhabi, citizensand residents.

Immediately after the prayer, the body of the late SheikhSaeed was transferred to the Bateen Cemetery where he was offeredproper burial.
