AMMAN (Petra) - Income and Sales Tax Department (ISTD) Director General Musa Mawazreh on Sunday met with a delegation from the Income Tax Department of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) that is currently visiting the Kingdom to get acquainted with the Jordanian experience in this field.
Muwazreh briefed the Palestinian delegation, chaired by the department's Director Hamzah Zaloum, on the ISTD's development and the income tax temporary law, underlining its transparency and unified exemptions. Commending the Jordanian experience, Zaloum said the PNA is working on tax reform and would like to benefit from the Jordanian experience in this regard. During their stay in Jordan, the Palestinian delegation is scheduled to visit the ISTD different directorates and learn about their different works.
