O West has begun operating the German Saxony International School (SIS) and the Canadian British Columbia International School during the 2021/2022 academic year, Kamel said.
Nadine Ismail School and Kent College Egypt are scheduled to begin operations in the next academic year, he added.
Orascom development is considering the development of the hospital and medical services as well as the commercial services at O West in 2022, Kamel pointed out.
The company is planning to complete the construction of the sports club extending over a 38-acre land plot during the period of 2022-2023 at a total cost of EGP 800 million, he said.
In February 2020, Orascom Development has signed an agreement to develop Kent College at a cost of EGP 500 million.
In March 2020, the company has signed an agreement worth EGP 450 million with Cairo Investment and Real Estate Development (CIRA) to establish Saxony International School and the British Columbia International School.
In June 2020, the company has signed an agreement valued at EGP 525 million with Nadine Ismail Schools to build two schools.
