Baghdad - Al-Jazeera and Al-Badia Operations Command managed to destroy two camps belonging to the so-called the Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham, (ISIS) and burn three boats belonging to them in Abu Kawa and Rawa, headquarters of the joint operations of the Iraqi army announced.

The Iraqi authorities have announced arresting the so-called Finance Minister of ISIS in al-Ramadi in al-Anbar province.

" Abu Safa al-Dimashqi, a Syrian, the finance minister of ISIS has been arrested along with four other terrorists in al-Ramadi city in al-Anbar province," Iraqi official television quoted an unnamed high-ranking Iraqi official as saying.

Residents of Iraq's Fallujah, an al-Qaeda-held city near capital Baghdad, have begun returning to their homes amid a tense calm.

A tense calm settled over the city on Saturday while sporadic fighting rattled in nearby areas of al-Anbar in al-Ramadi, where police and tribesmen retook from militants on Friday.

Most businesses reopened in Fallujah while government security operations in nearby areas were put on hold after heavy rain on Friday night restricted the use of aircraft and heavy vehicles.

Al-Qaeda-linked terrorists seized all of Fallujah, just 60 kilometers (37 miles) from Baghdad, and parts of Ramadi last week, after violence broke out in Anbar on December 30, 2013 .

In the same context, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki warned of the danger of al-Qaeda presence in the region in particular and the rest of the world in general.

" Terrorism has nothing to do with any sect as it is the enemy of Iraq," al-Maliki said in a speech during the annual festival of the Iraqi allegiance coalition and alliance of the uprising forces in Iraq. al-Maliki called for Iraqis to support the armed forces.

" It is up to us to stand on the side of our armed forces and our security services," he added.

" We can't accept or hear the sound which rejects the army's role because the war against terrorism does not bear differences," the premier said.

" On Friday tribesmen and police retook two areas of al-Ramadi from Al Qaeda-linked militants," tribal military commander Mohamed Khamis Abu Risha said.

"We fought ISIS alongside our sons from the local police forces and returned them to their stations," Abu Risha said.

"They only control 10% of al-Ramadi territory," he said.

The United Nations Security Council has expressed support for the Iraqi government's fight against al-Qaeda-linked militants in the country.

The 15-nation body published a statement on Friday night, backing Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki in the battle against the militants from ISIS in al-Anbar.
