MUSCAT — Towell Auto Centre LLC, the exclusive distributor for Bridgestone tyres in Oman, has inaugurated its state-of-the-art truck tyre service centre at Ghala. The service centre was inaugurated by Hassan Kamer Sultan, chairman of Towell Auto Centre, and Hirotaka Migita, managing director of Bridgestone Middle East FZE, in the presence of a large number of prominent businessmen and fleet owners.
Hirotaka Migita, managing director of Bridgestone Middle East, said the new service centre is one of its first kind in Oman and is a sign of Bridgestone’s continuous commitment to Oman market and Bridgestone’s vision to get closer to the customers.
Bridgestone plans to open more such truck centres in Oman in cooperation with Towell Auto Centre, he said.
Hassan Kamer Sultan said that Bridgestone and Towell Auto Centre share a long relationship.
Both the companies have been working in this market for many years providing customers with superior products and services striving to fulfil the tyre needs of the customers.
The new facility is fully equipped with world-class machinery to provide customers with the most professional service for tyre fitment, wheel balancing and guidance on how to use and maintain tyres to obtain maximum life.
The centre has a tubeless tyre fitment and balancing capabilities which is the only one in Oman functioning on a commercial basis to take care of customers from all truck and bus tyre segment.
“The tyre centre has been set up to meet the customer needs of quality tyres and professional skill which is safe and sure,” said Mohan Menon, national manager for sales, Towell Auto Centre.
The centre is a perfect model shop for truck and bus tyre sales in Oman, he said.
The tyre centre is manned by Bridgestone-trained professionals and the cutting edge technology provides greater safety adding more life to the tyres by reducing wear and tear.
