MUSCAT -- BankDhofar yesterday announced a special offer on its unique e-Com internet shopping card during Comex 2007.
Visitors to the Bank Dhofar pavilion at Comex during the next five days will get a chance to win an iPod if they sign up for the e-Com internet shopping card. There are two exciting iPods to be won everyday, a press release said.
BankDhofar's e-Com internet shopping card adds a new level of security to internet shopping. Its advanced security features give customers complete peace of mind by preventing fraudulent transactions. A further value addition is the flexible limit that can be decided based on the customer's requirements.
BankDhofar was one of the first organisations to sign up for Oman's biggest annual IT and telecom show, Comex.
According to Mudit Saxena, head of consumer banking, Bank Dhofar: "This special offer is yet another way through which we hope to present our customers with services and products they can benefit from. We hope that our customers will avail of this exciting offer. Our e-Com internet shopping card offers unparalleled security and is one of our pioneering products in Oman."
Another product that has created new standards in the banking industry is the deposit and bill payment machines, the first-ever in Oman to accept cheques. Customers can deposit cheques or cash directly into the machine, which will immediately scan the cheque or count the notes and confirm the amount being deposited.
BankDhofar's Zajil (SMS banking) offers unparalleled convenience for customers, and Visa chip credit cards offer customers complete security and shorten the process of fraud detection.
Besides, Wisal -- the Bank's call centre -- provides a host of services from statements to products and service sales. The centre is manned by trained and skilled staff, capable of handling customer requests round the clock, the release said.
Over the years, Bank Dhofar has developed a reputation for commitment, foresight and remarkable, yet solid growth, it claimed.
