MUSCAT -- His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, minister of heritage and culture, received in his office yesterday Dato Fadoka Haj Yaqoub Abu Bakar, deputy minister of culture, youth and sports of Brunei Darussalam. They reviewed bilateral relations and ways to promote them in various spheres, in addition to discussing measures to activate the memorandum of understanding signed by the two countries in the heritage and culture fields.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamad bin Hilal Al Ma'amari, Ministry of Heritage and Culture undersecretary for cultural affairs, and the ambassador of Brunei in the Sultanate.
The Brunei minister and his delegation yesterday visited Bait Al Zubair Museum. The guest and his delegation toured various sections of the museum and were briefed on its contents which depict the ancient and modern Omani history.
