MUSCAT -- IIHT, India's largest hardware and networking training institute, is offering academic and business tie-up opportunities in the Sultanate. Murali Mohan, Vice-President, Global Learning Solutions, IIHT, is on a visit to Oman to explore how IIHT could help interested companies to become a dominant player in IT education. Since its inception in 1992, IIHT has grown in leaps and bounds in terms of products, customers, partners and other associates with fully-equipped and state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities spread across the globe. These centres are considered to be IIHT's knowledge powerhouses.
Infrastructure Management Services (IMS) is the latest mantra which is invading today's IT industry. IIHT's degree course on IMS is called the TIME -- technology infrastructure management engineering. This course is recognised by the industry at large and has been considered the first of its kind that has reached out to a global learner community. IIHT's associations with multinationals like HP, IBM, Microsoft and Oracle made them realise that there was a big gap between academics and what the industry needed.
IIHT started on its mission by giving the industry highly skilled manpower and by giving its students careers in various multinational companies. With its clarity of mission and vision, IIHT reached out to thousands of youth across India and the globe. IIHT's venture into the international market has earned them accolades across the world. Especially, their training programmes in IMS have helped IIHT reach to a bigger audience. The programme has been appreciated by students globally.
The main highlight of the course is that a student at a 10+2 level after completing the IMS programme can graduate with a degree equivalent to an engineering degree. Similarly, a student with work experience after completing the course would be better equipped to meet the challenges at his work place. IIHT was pioneered by a young and dynamic management team, a fraternity of partners, trainers and business associates who have been instrumental in every milestone achieved by IIHT.
