MUSCAT -- The China National Logging Corporation (CNLC) recently concluded an International Technical Seminar to introduce its service capabilities with some new equipment to major oil companies in Oman. Around 50 people representing leading oil and gas corporations in Oman, attended the event. Participants were given a preview of sophisticated new generation equipment from China National Logging Corporation. Among the equipment introduced were the LEAP600, the HEPF a new technology of perforation, mud logging service like the technologies of NMR, Data Transmission and Geochemical Mud Logging, and well-testing service.
There was a separate session on the interpretation service. This valuable session provided an introduction and interpretation to Fracture Evaluation in Carbonate Reservoir by Conventional Logs and Flooded Zone Evaluation in Carbonate Reservoir. Additionally, coiled tubing equipment and service, cross dipole wave sonic introduction and application were some of the other important discussion points. The all-day seminar ended with a free discussion for the participants with questions or queries.
