MUSCAT -- The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) has issued two commemorative coins (gold and silver) on the occasion of the declaration of census 2003 results.
Each coin depicts the figure (2,340,815) the total population of the Sultanate, according to the 2003 census, surrounded by the census logos.
These coins are legal tender for their face values and may be purchased from CBO. The prices, RO249 for gold and RO10 for silver, are subject to change in accordance with the variations in the prices of the bullion in the international market.
