MUSCAT -- An official delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture will visit Al Ain and Abu Dhabi in the UAE at the invitation of Simran Group of Companies, Muscat, and Zander Corporation of the UK, on March 15.
The officials will observe the results of the use of innovative technique of using naturally occurring, mycorrhizal fungi in sustainable landscaping and organic agricultural projects in the arid zones of the Middle East so that this technique may be used in future in the Sultanate for more greenery.
Zander Corporation Ltd (ZCL) was invited to provide specialist technical advice and supply materials for propagation and planting trials for a variety of salinity tolerant plants including mangroves for a 75km property development project on the south coast of Kuwait.
